Douglas Dresch

You were my friend.

Imagine a whole bunch of words here
twenty years of laughter, tears,
anger, joy, words shouted, songs sung.

Imagine a very large hollow place
where your energy once
occupied the earth and filled
corners now left empty.

Imagine me imagining all that
and wondering how shattering the weeping
when suddenness and shock depart
and leaves life alone here.

Rest in Peace good buddy.

Hi Pumpkin. I just wanted to stop by and say thank you for visiting my blog. Thanks for the info in the bird. I couldn't find it in the bird books that my uncle has.
Sorry to hear about your friend passing. It's not easy losing somebody you are close to.
Take care and have a great week.
Stay warm!
Lisa

Hi Pumpkin,
I am just a stranger who went onto Google to search for more news about Douglas Dresch. I just saw the news today and I feel extremely sad and shock because Douglas was my office technician for so many years. He was the best technician I've ever worked with. I and everyone in my office really want to send cards to his family but don't know the contact info. Is it possible that you tell me who to contact? I work for Hadassah Women organization. It's killing me that I don't know why he died at such a young age. He was a very good person.

I still think of Doug every time I see somebody wearing socks and sandals. I think of his laugh and his smile. I still miss seeing you from time to time and talking about all our goofy mutual interests. Still missing you.
